At last WGMG has managed to to satisfy me in terms of the content delivered with each ep. I have been longing to see a new mission with each ep and now I am finally getting it, well that was the case for the this ep and last ep. Next ep will be a continuation of this ep so hopefully the last and final ep will be of a new mission and end with a bang! Yes, two eps. Isn’t it sad that WGMG is already reaching the end of its run? I am already going to miss seeing Taecyeon and Gui Gui on my screen each Saturday!
More dates like this must come! I loved both couple’s dates, they were both so sweet and meaningful! This is want I want to see more of; more of these heart-to-heart interactions between the couples. This was pure goodness with was filled with love and happiness. Both couples have opened themselves to one another, especially with how far TaecGui have progressed. Just watching their date this week in contrast to their initial meeting has showed how their 100 days of marriage has allowed to not only help each other to understand the other but also creating unforgettable memories for one another.
It was so thoughtful of Taecyeon to suggest that they go get some parents for their parents. I was totally going “awwwww” when he suggested it because it shows that he is considerate of Gui Gui. By considering her parents it means that he is thinking about the bigger picture, about her family. He must know that she must be missing her parents and family back at home, so that suggestion was a very nice touch for him in showing that he cares about her.
That walk across the stone bridge was very sweet. It so cute to see Taecyeon there helping Gui Gui and supporting her. She trusts him to be there for her and he is there for her! He helped her to cross that bridge by being a caring and loving husband. When she needed a hand he was there to support her and when she needed to cross back over the bridge, he sweetly moved aside for his wife.
What I love about TaecGui’s relationship is that they actually go about to talk about the plus and minuses of their relationship. By doing so this really goes a long way in helping them to get to know each other and build a stronger relationship. They are working together to turn the cons of their relationship into pros. No relationship is ever perfect and certainly TaeGui’s is of no exception, but they are working together to make it as perfect to their best of their abilities. For this to work, they have to understand each other and what they expect from the relationship. A great way for this to occur is to talk to each other, which I found they are doing very well at.
TaecGui occasionally have talks to “analyse” their relationship. They speak about what they like about each and what they do not like about each other. Every time after their talk they are bound to make changes to improve their relationship. This ep they spoke about their disappointment of which Taecyeon mentions the yes/no game at their wedding shoot once again. During one of the previous eps (during their honeymoon trip) Taecyeon also mentioned about the game. This shows that it is something that really bothers him and is something that has been on his mind since that day. I am glad that he chose to address this issue because it is something that can be fixed and help to strengthen their relationship. Gui Gui mentioned that she was disappointed with him not holding her hand so on their date the next day, he went to hold her hand but disappointingly, she didn’t hold his back and instead went to handcuff him instead.
I don’t think that it was because Taecyeon did not want to hold Gui Gui’s hands, but rather they were in a public place with numerous fans. That probably got to him and maybe he didn’t want the fans to cause problems because of that.
Whatever cookies TaecGui ate to alleviate their stress, I want it! I have never seen cookies like those before, and I especially have not seen people taking out their stress on cookies! Those cookies look so delicious and I am craving for them now! I really want to try those unique cookies! Oh, I also loved the part when Gui Gui told Taecyeon to “always ganbie” (Chinese for drowning the drink at once) and he looked down and meekly answered yes. That was so lovely to watch, to be able to see Gui Gui hold power in the relationship. Taecyeon is usually the one of power in the relationship because he is native to the country and understands the language so it is nice to see Gui Gui hold some form of power sometimes. (:
For TaecGui, they must always have some sort of battle going on regardless of where they are. The water fight at their date at the amusement park has got to be the most intense yet. It was so free and laid-back to watch the two run away chasing each other with a water gun. I just love how these two are able to be so comfortable around each other regardless of where they are. They can always find a way to make their dates even more cheerful! Furthermore, when they are at a game with each other they take things very seriously! Oh cheeky Gui Gui! She manipulated Taecyeon to get back at home. She diverted his attention by telling him that his mother is here so that she could go and shoot him with the gun.
Oh man, that back hug was really something, wasn’t it? I swear, if that was in a drama I would be ooing and cooing for the significant step towards the relationship but here knowing that this is IRL, I am just smiling for them. I just see this is as a step to further their relationship and isn’t something that This intimacy is something which TaecGui have worked hard towards to develop. They had to go through leaps and bounds to reach their current situation with each other, one where they are not afraid of skinship. It would have been nice if he could win one of the toys for her but at least together at the popping balloons games, they managed to win a small plush toy. (:
TaecGui’s animal adventure was very adventurous. It was so sweet of Gui Gui who said that she will protect him when he told her that he is afraid of animals. They saw a very rude elephant (hehehe), a player lion and got to feed a giraffe. How adorable is Taecyeon, who is afraid of animals, to go and feed the giraffe? His expression was just priceless. He was eager to get the feeding over and done while Gui Gui was eager to keep the giraffe around for longer. She was so tender with the giraffe and petted it whereas Taecyeon was afraid to even feed it.
I liked watching Hong Ki and Mina‘s date but it felt kind of dull compared to their previous times together. Nothing much really happened, they just walked around a bookstore, played a few games of bowling and pool. I would have liked to see something which was more and adventurous to see the two engage in some playful games with each other. Though, what I loved about this date was that it allowed them to grill each other more and get some really interesting answers to their questions. They need more of these heart-to-heart talks because it will really help them to understand each other.
I am so excited for next week should because I am anxious to see what Gui Gui’s performance it! She has something big planned up her sleeves and I am sure Taecyeon will be moved by it. I am still hoping for the two to engage in a social media event but this date is enough to cover that. These two, as well as Hong Ki and Mina, have walked a long way with their relationship. I really can’t believe that all this will be coming to an end soon. I just wish for the ending to end with a bang!
