And it looks good! Yum, there’s going to be something interesting to see. This first ep is straddling on your seriously overused storyline but I am up for these clichés! This first story is about Shan/Kelly (Kate Tsui) who loses her memory after going through a car accident. She ends up falling for her saviour, Shing/John (Chris Wang) but as they count down to their marriage, her ex-boyfriend, Lei Zi Ho (James Wen) makes an unexpected appearance causing conflicting feelings in Shan’s heart. It’s a question of who will win her heart and why they will win it. It’s going to be an exciting one to watch since James and Chris also played love rivals in their last collaboration, The Fierce Wife (AKA The Shrewd Wife). Chris won the girl last time around so will it be James’ luck this time?
The trailer is actually much better than I expected! It captures the emotions so carefully that tears, pains and aches are all floating around for you to catch. The filming is spectacular the style of filming is right up my alley. This is going to be something that I really anticipate aside from watching the chemistry between the leads. There is definitely going to be lots of sorrow here with it really dominating the ep. Music is also going to play a vital part here and I quite enjoying the offering.
I really do feel the chemistry between the leads here and I am enjoying it. Kate has much more chemistry with James so I’m hoping that they will end up together. But that will all be revealed very soon. This was filmed with the leads speaking their native language so I’m pretty sure there is going to be dubbing involved.
Anyway, check out the trailer below which features the theme song Love Not Forgotten sung by Joyce Cheng.
Also check out the BTS and the director on the concept of the story here for part 1 and here for part 2.
