What day is it? It’s Friday that’s what! Yep, Friday is finally here! I have been waiting two agonising weeks for this Friday to come and at last it has arrived. In between drama, so much has been happening. Real life can be such a pain in the ass sometimes but just knowing that I have In A Good Way to look forward to every week brightens me up as the week nears closer and closer to Friday. At the end of ep 11, we ended with Xiao Wei standing up for herself and stepping into the protest under her own will. I was happy that the ep did not end with a cliffhanger because that would have made the wait for ep 12 that much more agonising but more so, I was happy with the growth in Xiao Wei and the way the friends treated this protest in regards to her. They never pushed her as such to make any decisions and they respected her for her stance. This friendship between the gang is beyond sweet because regardless of what comes between them, they will always be there for each other. This protest is a test against their friendship and they will come out of it stronger than how they went in it.
There is a variety of stances against this protest and I like that. It is once again Tracy who is not afraid to side with the minority. Like Jia En, she is will stand up for what she believes in and I like this persona of her. I like that everyone is free to state where they stand and how the friends will support each other regardless of what their view is. I say it time and time again, but this gang of friends have a really strong friendship. Nothing can or will come between them. Nope, not even romance, because friendship trumps everything else. They will definitely come out of this unscathed and maybe there will even be new sparks created!
This week’s ep will be featuring some special cameo appearances from Jia En and Liu Chuan’s idols, A-Yue and Wu Bai and China Blue. It’s going to be a very endearing ep, especially having to wait two weeks for it to come. This written preview and the hug from the video previews makes me even more excited for it to air already.
It’s the countdown towards the unveiling of the “The Era of Freedom” event. Liu Chuan and Jia En, the leaders of the justice mission decide to accomplish an impossible mission in two short days. Everyone musters their best effort to prepare for it. The students on campus receive B.B call and hear Liu Chuan’s message telling them “I have something to say to everyone”. Liu Chuan’s appeal garners attention and spreads through word of mouth. Looking forward to this much anticipated battle!
Ren Wei accompanies Bai Xue in preparing the supplies for the event. He inadvertently discovers how to handsomely reverse a car. Ah Di and Jacky work together to disturb the peace and create an awkward atmosphere between Bai Xue and Ren Wei. Ah Qing requests for the event venue but Tracy steals away the opportunity and even sides with Professor Chang Fei to confiscate the petition and props for protest. Will Tracy become the universal condemnation of sinners or the saviour?
Jia En and Liu Chuan have a great responsibility between them. They go around to all the radio stations and pubs but only get their sacred petition list crossed off. Jia En feels guilty towards Liu Chuan and decides to solve the problem in her own way while Liu Chuan feels a sense of loss. The crowd gathers at Cheng Dong Uni but see no sight of Liu Chuan and Jia En. The countdown starts. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Will a miracle happen?
