I can assure you that you will not be short of Tiffany Tang this month with hit drama after hit drama airing one after the other. Her drama My Sunshine only just finished airing last week and it was a hit both online and offline, generating a mountain of discussion. I haven’t even gotten over My Sunshine yet but immediately after My Sunshine concluded, her other drama, Lady & Liar, which has been highly anticipated for well over one and a half years, starring her best friend Yang Mi‘s hubby Hawick Lau took over the position of My Sunshine and is my current drama jam. It is reaping in the ratings, though remains unbeaten by The Empress of China. Tomorrow though, another one of Tiffany’s drama, Legend of Fragrance starring hottie Li Yi Feng, jumps in the competition which is literally Tiffany competing against herself for the ratings since it will be replacing TEOC. LOL. Continue reading
2015 is starting off as a busy year for Tiffany Tang with dramas after dramas lined up for her whether in filming or in airing. And this year will only get busier for her. Her currently airing and highly anticipated drama My Sunshine is receiving positive feedback from the general audience and her other highly anticipated drama Lady & Liar (apparently this is its official name now; previously it was called The Lady & The Liar which imo sounds better) set to air immediately right after My Sunshine is looked forward to by many people. She also has Legend of Fragrance, Women on the Breadfruit Tree, Master of Destiny, Boys to Men and Diamond Lover waiting for release. Busy, busy year for her! Continue reading
Looks like I will be heading over to China for my dramas in 2015! So far I have two Chinese dramas that I really really really want to watch and they both so happen to star Tiffany Tang. Her first drama for 2015 will be My Sunshine (title recently changed from You Are My Sunshine) which is adapted from the popular online novel Silent Separation (何以笙簫默) by Gu Man whose other novel Come and Eat, Shan Shan (杉杉来吃) also got adapted into the successful drama Boss & Me. I’ve been saying that I would go and read Come and Eat, Shan Shan but I have been too busy for it. With all these dramas that I want to see in 2015, I really don’t have the time just yet. I guess I’ll stick with dramaing for now. 😛 Tiffany will be playing a romantic couple with Wallace Chung here. Continue reading
Merry Christmas my beautiful readers! I hope you are all enjoying this festive season!
Sunday night drama Say Yes I Do Again (AKA I Do2 ) will be ending in a few weeks and that means a new drama is getting ready to take over the spot. SETTV Sunday night dramas have been quite a dud in recent years, particularly after Miss Rose. King Flower (AKA Substitute Princess OR Replacement Princess OR The Adventure Of King Flower) was a relative success but the drama went through some major changes during its run. Love Around was just plain boring and I actually sat around recapping it. Déjà Vu and Fall in Love with Me were both trainwreck makjang crazies and just kills brain cells. The currently airing SYIDA is draggy, tedious and falls into the boring category. None of these five dramas have managed to excite me but the upcoming drama Someone Like You (Chinese literal title: Hearing Happiness) is visually appealing! The drama itself might stink and truthfully, I am just going to close my eyes and hope for the best for this drama. At least the visuals are pleasing to look at. Continue reading
MBC recently rolled out two new teasers and official posters for the upcoming rom-com Fated to Love You and it has really put on a big smile on my face and I really do hope that it will continue to do so! I am loving what I am seeing! I really hope that these are signs that drama will be great. Continue reading
I don’t think I have been this excited about an upcoming drama for quite long while. The very first teaser for Fated to Love You and the official website with never-before-seen stills dropped today and that has just pumped up my excitation levels. The teaser is more like a CF than a teaser because this is a far cry from the drama’s storyline. The teaser features leads Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara sharing a cute bubbly picnic date which is just oh-too-cute for the eyes. He plays the guitar for her and rallies her for a romantic hug on the bridge which is filled with loads of electric energy passing between each other. It’s very cheesy but I really like it for it’s upbeat atmosphere. Continue reading
