My Opinion on The King 2 Heart Episode 11

Finally, things take an opposite turn. Since Hang Ah had her stay at South Korea, it is not Jae Ha’s turn to have a stay at her hometown. After he has shooed her back to North Korea, he soon has his regrets so he decides to go on a mission to woo her back. Well he better has the heart to do so because Hang Ah is not to going to be easy to get. Jae Ha is really trying to reach his softer and emotional side. You can also see that Jae Shin is quickly developing feelings for Shi Kyung. (: I look forward to them together.   Continue reading

My Opinion on The King 2 Hearts Episode 10

This episode left me speechless at least for the last ten-ish minutes. I knew it was coming after their intimate moment together but I really didn’t expect it to go there. A baby! And she had to miscarry! 😥 I can’t believe it, I just can’t. I really would have much preferred it if they just left it as it is and that Jae Ha will finally realise his love for Hang Ah, but no, I guess this baby will really help bond these two now. Princess Jae Shin and Shi Kyung really should more screen time! I barely even see them for more than 2 minutes! Arghhhhh, but every single time they share some screen time the chemistry is there. Continue reading

My Opinion on The King 2 Hearts Episode 9

This was a tense episode based on the theme of trust. Considering the tension between North and South Korea, our star couple ought to have immense trust with each other if they want to make it out together as a loving couple. Now the north-south tension are really hot on the wire. Our side couple are getting warmer and warmer each time they meet! (: Surprisingly, it is not Bong Goo who gets on my nerves but Secretary Eun. Continue reading

My Opinion on The King 2 Hearts Episode 8

No, I was wrong. This is the saddest episode. Just seeing Jae Ha’s sad face breaks my heart. He shows a strong character on the outside but really he is a softie inside. This just makes me miss Jae Kang all that more. When Jae Shin found out that her legs were paralysed, well that just breaks my heart as well. Seeing their mother break down just breaks my heart too. See how much times my heart got broken in this ep? When the Bong Goo (yeah, I found out his name. hehehehe) arrived, that just ruined that beautiful night Hang Ah and Jae Ha shared. Hehehe Continue reading

My Opinion on The King 2 Hearts Episode 7

This has got to be the saddest episode! 😦 So much happened in this episode yet it doesn’t seem forced but rather it progressed smoothly. This episode also grew on me. This showcase of the North and South Korean cultural differences really stood out. This drama somehow manages to keep viewers drawn to it.  Continue reading

My Opinion on The King 2 Hearts Episode 6

This is my favourite episode by far. The princess came back. At first I thought she was a familiar face and a closer inspection uncovered that she was one of the teachers in Dream High! So much happened yet it doesn’t seem rushed and it all flowed together neatly. I find that our main couple just hold so much chemistry together. They don’t even have to say a word and you can feel everything there. Such a symbolic drama! Continue reading

My Opinion on The King 2 Hearts Episode 5

I was going to do recaps for The King 2 Hearts but when I got around to finding it with english subs, there’s already plenty of well written TK2H recaps out there so I won’t bother doing it. (Hmmm…I wonder how those people do those recaps so quickly. They either understand Korean or …) However, I would still like to express my opinion so I have decided to create somewhere to express my opinion. (: Continue reading

North and South Korea are on the verge of reunification. Only this is set in the imaginary modern-day South Korea where it is governed by a monarchy.
